Last month, we highlighted Aperia Technologies and Iteros. This month, we are highlighting LLamasoft, Augment’s most outstanding company from Fund I.

LLamasoft continues to execute after last year’s substantial investment from TPG Capital which provided liquidity to Augment at more than 12 times our original investment. LLamasoft recently announced its prestigious list of speakers for its SummerCon 2018, and has worked to improve access to medicine in Nigeria.

In addition, LLamasoft expanded operations into Germany, Austria and Switzerland through a new regional headquarters in Munich, has been named a 2017 National Best and Brightest Company to Work For, and had two of its leaders named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s 2018 Pros to Know.

LLamasoft continues to grow by helping its customers design thriving supply chains, and by creating an outstanding corporate culture and employee engagement initiatives. We congratulate Don Hicks and the team, and we are proud to be part of the LLamasoft story! We are excited to see what comes next!

 


LLamasoft Announces Keynote Speakers for their annual SummerCon Supply Chain Conference

LLamasoft is proud to have Nobel Laureate Daniel Kahneman, cultural phenomenon, Penn Jillette, and J. Craig Venter, one of the leading scientists of the 21st century, as keynote speakers for this year’s SummerCon. It is a testament to LLamasoft’s status as the global leader in supply chain optimization software and solutions to host such prestigious guests.

The William Davidson Institute uses LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru to Improve Access to Medicine in Nigeria

The William Davidson Institute (WDI) was established at the University of Michigan in 1992 and is an independent, non-profit research and educational organization focused on providing private-sector solutions in emerging markets.

Using Supply Chain Guru, WDI was able to reduce the risk and cost of supply chain design improvement by testing design changes in a digital environment before implementing them. Initial analysis highlighted preconceived processes that need to be re-considered.
