Managing Director
After two decades in venture, one truth guides me: outsized outcomes flow from extraordinary people – founders who build, LPs who believe, and teammates who execute. I started Augment Ventures to back mission-driven entrepreneurs using AI to modernize supply chains, manufacturing, and industrial infrastructure. We aim to be a founder’s first call and our investor’s quiet edge.
My path began in Mumbai, structuring $100 million-plus tech financings at PwC and IDBI and taking Rediff.com public while helping launch Edelweiss’s tech-banking arm. Relocating to the U.S., I wrote the first seed check into LLamasoft; it exited for $1.5 billion and became our playbook for disciplined early capital. Today, Augment spans multiple funds, a unicorn exit, and top quartile performance all built with institutional rigor.
I earned a B.S. in Statistics from Fergusson college and an M.B.A. from the Symbiosis Institute of Management, grounding my operator-grade rigor in data and discipline. We actively help in recruiting early teams, landing lighthouse customers, and crafting capital plans that accelerate momentum. I bring that same mindset to board seats at Rivet, Optilogic, ConverSight, Perennial, and Flume among others. This spirit also dives mentorship for founders at office hours and as an advisor to Michigan’s Zell Lurie Commercialization Fund.
As a first-generation immigrant, statistician, and mother of two, I know diverse perspectives compound. When I’m not meeting the founders, you’ll find me exploring the outdoors with family and the most amazing dog, Magnus. I believe that high velocity investing, and a grounded life can coexist.
Augment exists to translate breakthrough ideas into real-world resilience. If that mission resonates — whether you’re building the future or funding – I’d love to talk.
