Shivani Govil is a seasoned executive with 25+ years of experience transforming enterprise software businesses, driving product-led growth, and translating technology inflections into differentiated commercial opportunities. She combines deep operating experience across product management, strategy, go-to-market, corporate development and business development with expertise in AI, enterprise software and digital transformation. She has operated at every stage, from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies – and across both horizontal and vertical software applications. Shivani brings a mindset grounded in both strategy and execution: identifying opportunities to improve product-market fit, pricing and packaging, positioning, roadmap effectiveness and GTM performance; assessing markets, products and competitive dynamics; and translating strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes.

As Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company, Shivani advises clients on AI transformation, product strategy, and organizational readiness. An early pioneer of GenAI applications at Google, Shivani led the enterprise-wide rollout of generative AI tools across engineering. Sundar Pichai cited this work in Alphabet’s Q3 2025 earnings call, noting that over 25 percent of Google’s code was being generated by AI. This large-scale global deployment gave her firsthand insight into the opportunities, risks and organizational requirements of scaling AI across an enterprise.

As Chief Product Officer at CCC Intelligent Solutions, a $7B PE backed Insurtech company, Shivani led product and marketing and helped the company through a successful IPO. She scaled revenue by over 30 percent while expanding margins. She also developed board materials and presented product strategy directly to the Board. Prior to that, Shivani held senior leadership roles at SAP, Sage, and Agile Software (Oracle). At Sage, she scaled AI powered platforms for 3 million small and medium business customers across 23 countries. At SAP, she helped drive 1.6 trillion dollars in transaction value across 3 million buyers and suppliers on the Ariba platform. In her early career, Shivani worked in two Silicon Valley VC backed startups (Covigo and Knowmadic) and is deeply networked in the Silicon Valley ecosystem.

A recognized thought leader in enterprise AI and technology transformation, Shivani is a regular invited speaker at industry events and academic institutions. Shivani is an advisor to a few startups and on the board of IITBHF and Avanti Fellows. She holds a Master’s in Engineering from Princeton University and a B.Tech. in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
