Austin Churley

Venture Analyst

Austin joins Augment Ventures as a recent graduate of Wayne State University. During his time at Wayne State, he gained hands-on experience through multiple internships, including roles as a Growth Capital Intern at TechTown Detroit – Detroit’s leading startup incubator – and in Business Development at Lorient Capital, a healthcare-focused private equity firm. Beyond the classroom, Austin played a key role in expanding the university’s footprint within Michigan’s startup ecosystem. He is the founder of Warrior Ventures, Wayne State’s first-ever student-run venture fund, created to empower the next generation of student investors and entrepreneurs.

Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Wayne State University, Mike Ilitch School of Business.
