Perennial Raises $18 Million

Augment portfolio company Perennial (formerly known as Cloud Agronomics) recently announced both a strategic rebranding as well as the close of an $18 million Series A financing round. The round was co-led by Temasek and Bloomberg, with participation from Microsoft Climate Fund and existing investors including Augment Ventures and SineWave Ventures. IPCC Sixth Assessment Report

The United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released its Working Group III report in April, the second report it has released in 2022. This report assesses the mitigation of climate change, examines the sources of global emissions, and explains developments in emission reduction and mitigation efforts. A third and final report will be released later this year.
